Cupcakes for an Aunt
I went to visit an aunt the other day and I made her some cupcakes. They were chocolate with vanilla buttercream frosting - sweet and simple. But I think I was colour-blind that day. I don't know why I thought the roses were pink. Ah, well!

Lemon-Raspberry Muffins
We went on a picnic on Saturday (our first in Singapore!) and I made these lemon-raspberry muffins from Nigella's Domestic Goddess. My older son asked me why I always bake the same thing, so I had to try to make something else. I chose this because I wanted something tangy yet sweet enough for my boys and this looked like an easy recipe. And it was. It was really really easy to make. It was soft and moist and I loved the lemony raspberry taste. Funnily, my younger son would only eat the cake part without the raspberries even though he loves fresh raspberries!

Cupcakes for Husband
Hahaha.....obviously not my husband. A friend ordered some chocolate cupcakes for her husband and this is the end result. Think I need to get more "guy cutters", all I have are like flowers and butterflies; just too girlie for a guy, right?
